Link Study
The Link Study carried out by Lynce Consultoria provides the customer with technical information related to its operation. It ensures good communication performance through computational tools in which the terrain profile is analyzed .
The images are plotted in the figures showing the installation points of the towers provided by the customer. With positioning geographic towers we started the prior analysis of the link.
Subsequently, we carry out the Link profile analysis using the computational tool.
In the Figures it is possible to observe in greater detail the Link profile in which information related to Fresnel Zones, Free Space Attenuation and Sensitivity, for example, are calculated and reported.
The effective sizing of a link reduces costs both in its implementation, as well as in operation and maintenance.

Coverage Area Calculation
The calculation of the Coverage Area is performed using the electromagnetic wave propagation model which considers an irregular terrain relief profile. This propagation model is called Longley-Rice. In addition to the relief profile, this model also adds climate and land curvature to the calculation under consideration.
The computational tool that Lynce Consultoria uses to predict the coverage of the electromagnetic signal adopts the propagation model mentioned above: Longley-Rice.
This prediction considers the geoprocessing of existing maps in the world network in which the terrain elevation is taken into account. After its elaboration in the prediction software, its image is exported to GOOGLE EARTH, which makes it possible to analyze in detail the dispersion of the studied signal and the identification of regions with signal shadows.
This identification is of paramount importance for decision making regarding the scope of application provided to the customer. At the customer's discretion, images with different colors related to signal levels can be processed.
